Leave your suits and heels at home, this year is going to be more relaxed. The 43rd Annual Fall Institute for Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurses will be at The Nature Place in Florissant, CO. The Nature Place is situated on 6,000 acres of private land in Colorado—bordering Pike National Forest and the Fossil Beds National Monument in the western foothills of Pikes Peak. Located at an elevation of 8,600 feet, The Nature Place lies in a montane life zone, where we have mountain meadows, aspen groves, open pine forests, small mountain streams, and spruce and fir forests. They have many birds, squirrels, coyotes, hawks, elk, deer, and turkeys—and the occasional bobcat. They also have Wifi.
Included is access to The Sportsplex with indoor swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, exercise and weight room, and an indoor multi-use game court for basketball, volleyball, or tennis. They also have outdoor tennis and volleyball courts, a horseshoe pit, an outdoor amphitheater with fire pit, and miles of marked hiking and biking trails through the forests and meadows of privately owned 6,000 acres.

The Nature Place offers 47 recently renovated studio apartments that are constructed using natural wood and rock. The rooms have large windows and private decks so that people can relax, and view the spectacular natural beauty that surrounds us. Each apartment has a fireplace, sitting area, full bath, wet bar, workstation with free wi-fi, and small refrigerator. Rooms have 2 double beds.
